Crowborough is host to some brilliant events in autumn
THE CROWBOROUGH GRAND FIREWORK DISPLAY
The legendary Crowborough Firework display will be taking place on Saturday 5th November 2022
from 7.30pm at Goldsmiths Recreation Ground, Eridge Road, Crowborough. The gates will open from
7pm
This year’s firework display will have an exciting Elton John theme, so expect another truly
spectacular display. Stalls selling hot food, ice-cream, candy floss, brownies, doughnuts, and drinks
will be available onsite.
Parking is limited at the recreation ground so please use the free car parking in the town centre.
Entrance is FREE. This year, we will be collecting donations to the Mayor’s charities, Crowborough
Foodbank and Grove Park Charitable Trust. Please give generously to these important charities on
the night.

Remembrance in Crowborough 2022
Armistice Day Commemoration will take place as before at the War Memorial, Chapel Green at 10:45am on Friday 11th November.
The Remembrance Sunday Parade will take place on the morning of Sunday 13th November at 11:00am. The actual parade will assemble in the lower car park, Croft road car park at 10:15am where it will march to Chapel Green for the traditional wreath laying ceremony followed by a service of remembrance at All Saints Church.
In addition, the CVSA will provide veterans to perpetuate the traditional Act of Remembrance on Remembrance Sunday at St Michael and All Angels Church, Jarvis Brook commencing at 10:30am For further information of all commemorations contact events@crowboroughtowncouncil.gov.uk or secretaryCDVSA@gmail.com
Crowborough’s Christmas Cracker
Christmas is just around the corner and we are looking forward to the return of this fabulous, family friendly Christmas fair. Crowborough’s popular Christmas fair is taking place on Friday 25 th November from 4.00pm to 6.30pm. Stalls will line the High Street and there will be an abundance of street performers to entertain visitors. The land train will be transporting children and their families to Santa’s Grotto at the Social Club. By popular request, The Rock Choir returns to Crowborough along with the Crowborough Players, local bands and local school choirs who will be performing at the Piazza. Don’t miss the turning on of the Christmas lights at 6.00pm.
Civic Carol Service
Crowborough Town Council will be holding their annual Civic Carol Service at All Saints Church, Chapel Green on Wednesday 7th December at 7.30pm. Wadhurst Brass Band, Ashdown School Choir, Fermor School Choir, Grove Park School Choir and All Saints Choir will be singing throughout the evening. All are very welcome to attend
