This Christmas, Wealden Funerals is putting a smile on the faces of isolated elderly folks in our care homes. Their annual Christmas Wishlist is a chance to give a little gift and a lot of festive cheer to those spending the holidays in care homes who do not have anyone outside of their home to think of them.
The Wishlist is brimming with thoughtful gift ideas, from cosy blankets and toiletries to tasty treats and festive decorations. Every little gift helps bring some Christmas magic to those who might otherwise feel alone during this time of year.
Donating is easy: You can drop off a gift from the Wish List at Wealden's funeral home in Heathfield and Crowborough, Guest Shoe Services in Crowborough, Phoenix Health Hub in Uckfield, or The Laurel Café in Hailsham.
Andy Kirk said, “We know that care homes make sure their residents receive some presents, but this initiative takes that one step further and shows them that they are still in people's thoughts outside of their immediate environment. This is the second year we have run this initiative, and we are looking to build on last year’s success and support a bigger area.”
Wealden's Christmas Wishlist is a fantastic way to get into the festive spirit and support a good cause. Let's work together to ensure everyone feels the warmth of Christmas this year.
