Lastly in the men's, Plumpton Athletic fell to a 3-2 defeat away to Ansty FC 2nd’s, with Maresfield Village continuing their good form after beating Lindfield 3rd’s 2-1.

In women’s football, Lewes are through into the third round of the FA Women’s Cup after beating AFC Sudbury 3-0 despite a serious injury suffered by Sammy Quayle early in the second half, with The Rooks finding out their opponent in the next round at 11am.
