In local football, Crowborough Athletic will be looking to correct a mixed start to the season when they host a Bexhill United side without a win in three, while AFC Uckfield Town look to improve upon recent form away to Storrington, as Jarvis Brook play Worthing Town at home.

And in the Mid Sussex Leagues, and it's the season opener for Ridgewood, who face the Cuckfield Rangers at home in their first ever game in the Premier Division.

While in local cricket, Crowborough Athletic are hosting Hellingly with both sides having won only one of their last five fixtures, while Uckfield Anderida will face a big test to claim a hugely needed win in their survival battle, as they play at home to an inform Lewes St Michaels.

Elsewhere, Buxted Park will visit second from bottom Eastbourne knowing they have to win to keep themselves in their title fight, while Barcombe host Haywards Heath 2nd’s, with Plumpton & East Chiltington welcoming Hurstpierpoint. 

In the Division 5 East, Heathfield Park are still leading the league, but have to win at home against Isfield to stay in control with just four games left to play, while Newick welcome a struggling Battle side, as Fletching host third placed Hastings & St Leonards Priory 2nd’s.

Lastly in cricket, Rotherfield are at home to Robertsbridge 2nd’s, as Nutley face a crucial fixture in their survival fight as they host Laughton, with Blackboys aiming to make it 13 wins on the bounce away to Pett 2nd’s, while Hadlow Down welcome Henfield 3rd’s.

Finally in the bowls, Saturday’s fixtures sees Crowborough play Buxted Park at home, while on Sunday Uckfield will host the Bill Peters Shield, as Crowborough welcome Wadhurst in the Horam League.
