Its going to be a warm weekend!
The Sussex Sharks narrowly returned to winning ways against bottom of the league Middlesex by just a four run margin, thanks in part to an spectacular fielding performance by James Coles, with the Sharks back in action later today as they host second placed Durham.
Onto the local leagues now and its two difficult fixtures in the Division 8 East, as Uckfield Andreida are travelling away to top of the table Mayfield, with Crowborough hosting second place Selmeston and Alciston.
Buxted Park travel to face Crowhurst Park, Isfield host Halisham, and Plumpton and East Chiltington are away to third placed Southwater.
In Division 5 East action, it's a top of the table clash with second placed Newick travelling to Herstmonceux, as Fletching will be aiming for their second win on the bounce as they visit bottom of the league Pevensey, and Barcombe are away to Ringmer.
Nutley and Rotherfield are facing off at Fords Green, as Nutley look to cement their position in first, with Blackboys at home to Ringmer’s 2nd XI, and Hadlow Down hosting Streat & Westmeston’s second XI.
And in the Bowls, Uckfield are back in Horam League action on Sunday as they travel away to second from bottom Deanland, as Crowborough also travel away this weekend, first to Hampden Park tomorrow, before visiting Speldhurst on Sunday.
Finally, it’s race day at Brighton Racecourse, with Gentleman’s Day taking place later today, with seven races scheduled, with gates opening at 12, ahead of the start at 2pm.
