There were big wins for Newick, who defeated Pett by 191 runs, and for Nutley, who scored a massive 353 for three to set up a 178-run win over Ringmer’s second team. And Blackboys maintained their unbeaten record with an 80-run victory over Linden Park’s fourth team.
There were defeats for Plumpton and East Chiltington, Barcombe, Fletching and Rotherfield.
The Sussex Sharks recorded their first win of the season in the T20 Blast yesterday. The Sharks beat local rivals and defending champions Kent by four runs in an exciting match at the County Ground Hove.
