Snow White Review - Devonshire Park Theatre Eastbourne
Without a shadow of doubt, they have certainly done it again! Ryan said on his Breakfast Show numerous times that he always looks forward to going along to Eastbourne's Pantomime and this years certainly didn't disappoint!
Writer and Director Chris Jordan, has pulled off another festive treat for 2024. You'll be clapping along from the moment the curtain raises. The opening tune is a classic Oasis track. From that moment on, you know that you are in for a night of festive fun!
Georgie Hales makes her Eastbourne debut in the lead role of Snow White. You know the plot. She's set to be murdered in the depths of the forest by The Wicked Queen, so is exceptionally good at talking in rhyme! Her evil plan doesn't come into fruition though, as Snow White is saved by 7 rather small miners who resemble garden gnomes!
Eastbourne favourites Tucker and Martyn Knight share the stage once again this year as Herbie The Huntsman and Dame Dolly and create plenty of laughs! Especially when they take on The 12 Days Of Christmas with Ben Tyler, who is playing Prince Simon.
Carli Norris also returns this year. Best known for portraying Belinda Slater in BBC's Eastenders, she takes on the role of The Wicked Queen and gives the audience a roller-coaster ride of booing and laughter throughout the performance. Look out for a very well known celebrity, who appears in the mirror on the wall.
If you haven't yet got tickets, make sure you do! It's certainly a 5/5 show!
Snow White runs at the Devonshire Park Theatre until Sunday, 12 January, 2025.
